Haiku Dec15

pearl ivory

small teeth for self
and big tusks for ourselves
elephant's kindness

die to make the way
for the walking elephants
insects of forest

blinds see in own way
as pillar wall fan rope pipe
wise - an elephant

big wise elephant
does not kill but serves others
we call lion, the king

presented to him
the walking stick by my dad
grandfather's third leg

placed in the show-case
my grandfather's walking stick
his reminiscence

my grandfather's eyes
yet watch his beautiful house
hanged portrait on wall

holding his finger
me became grandpa's third leg
he taught me to walk

sketch technique

one under veil
other covered by clouds
two hidden moons

crazy to have sip
in the cup of lemon tea
housefly suicides

compete to each
who illuminates more bright
full moon or she

one can realize
seeing his grandmother
where love is born

I saw always fresh
though wrinkles on her face
my grandmother's love

seeing grandmother
plants of the lawn go happy
shower in her hand

dishes I like most
my mother use to prepare
learnt from grandmother

used to give to me
the first chunk of sweet and cake
my great grandmother

liked even she was
instructor of my mother
liked my grandmother

clouds condensed
rainfall or hailstorm
yet to know

got rid of clouds
fearing clouded by snow
the moon

stayed at airport
task-free several hours
sudden snow flakes

butcher counts stock
happier is the goat
counted last

terrorist counts heads
number ahead of him
counts last hostage

guides to heaven
hides behind black clothes
feared gunman

bloomed blossoms
breeze of spring pilfers
the scent away

fog and fall
spring gets rid of all
sun shines bright

earth dressed bridal
her vital ornament
the red maple

an equinox
day and night agree to share
the time equally

spring equinox
fulcrum tilts day side
to melt the snow

night of heavy rains
shifts her cot here and there
holes in hut's roof

doesn't understand
doctor said - sleep tension free
wife sleeps on same bed

what learnt from robot ?
girls can spoil machine's mood yet
the student replied

looks down
to see the moon
where moonlit gone
earth is happy
dipped in

only yesterday
I put the diamond ring
in my finger
after he came
from abroad

Earth's health and wealth
Unless kept green
Would destroy
let's own the duty

Besty of pond
The waterlily

Won't look gorgeous
Unless lawn is maintained green
Bunglow of the earth

Rises high to take
The rough trunk of palm date
Beauty on the top

saw always fresh
though wrinkles on face
grandmother's love

I knew
seeing grandmother
where love is born

five senses haiku

a green chilly
crushed between jaws
flooded mouth

when opens eyes
we see the world
the Sun

streams of music
yet a desert
for the deaf

sleep disturbed
a creeping fly
on the body

ceaseless sneezing
released dust of
dried tobacco

delicious bite
tag of war between
tongue and tummy

leaves of banyan

clap to welcome

the breeze

the wind blew
neighbouring country's whiffs
imported free

butcher counts stock
counted in the last
happier goat

fog and fall
sun gets rid of all
bright spring

I could not

touched her lips
my poetry

in the restaurant
ordered a cup of hot tea
smelling in coffee

in the village street
ready with the stick in hand
a barking dog

in the washroom
hand on the wrong handle
wets sound of shower
