Flying Kite on 15 August

Tied to strings colours fly in the sky
and joy in parks, streets and roof-tops.
Not bothering even for their lunch,
the children are on the  kite-flying job.

Sets of contests go on between two,
don't know each other who is who.
They just aim to cut the other's line
and make his kite off the blue.

Little ones enjoy looting those kites,
add to their team's stock with pride.
Later, Gaurav's kite is in Akram's hands
and else one's  kite,  Akram flies.

Fun, friendship, fervour are the kite's play
to celebrate the Indian Independence Day.

The Indian independence day's carnival,
full of fun, friendship and fervour.

Dana majhi poor Indian villager

Poor Dana Majhi
Kalahandi

His wife suffered from tuberculosis.
Government hospital was the only oasis;
Where the poor would have least facility.
Absence of doctors is also a reality.

He has no money for the treatment.
Has to depend upon the government.
Only few days she could survive.
He gets back dead body of his wife.

Used to sail the boats, his ancestors;
on which crossed the river, the commuters.
Poor Dana Majhi can't hire a vehicle.
He can't afford even to have a bicycle.

On the worst day of his life, he takes her;
to his village for funeral, on his shoulder.
He carries her load unto ten kilometres.
People on the way were mere spectators.

Of an Indian villager, this is a real story.
Not an ancient, but of twenty first century.
Leaders become soon, multimillionaire.
Whereas poor live homeless, life of dire.

the country gives life
for the country
he would die

in a country
each moment dies the poor guy
how again can die

Singing breeze

Goes on swirling, the singing breeze
cools the heart the singing breeze
wanders in the herbs and bushes
passes through trees, the singing breeze

Lakes oceans and rivers, in their sleep
awakes the emotions the singing breeze

They roam freely, as wish in the sky
sways the clouds, the singing breeze
plays with the flames of fire
flare and  diminish the singing breeze
passes through groves of bamboos
plays fine tune of flute the singing breeze
bloomed beautiful blossoms in the gardens
spread the aroma the singing breeze
sing awesome sweet sings the birds
bring to the ears the singing breeze
flag is fixed highest on the mast
unfurls and waves the singing breeze
whenever its mood is off
brings the storms the singing breeze

Search O google uncle, face book

O! Google uncle

Beautiful bride, of my pride, search O! Google uncle!
Fair as, the night can't hide, search O! Google uncle!

She must be a teen, but above seventeen
to become my queen, search O! Google uncle!

Who delights my eyes, my passion satisfies,
Even the mirror envies, search O! Google uncle!

Should have sugar sweet lips, be slim above hips
In her love I may dip, search O! Google uncle!

Should've silky golden hair, her colour should flair
Her figure would be rare, search O! Google uncle!

Her talk like angels, her walk like gazells,
Her eyes lotus petals, search O! Google uncle!

Her pretty pretty face, would have special grace
These are hints for the trace, search O! Google uncle!

Face book

A place, you don't see face
but have got the nice base;
You can easily hop and land
get your all friends of grace.

Here dump your mental garbage,
your ideas, you can salvage,
to enter someone's heart
you can make your passage.

You can have here pleasure,
you can hunt here treasure,
you can educate yourself,
have solutions for the leisure.

With your friends, you update,
many more, you can add,
If you have the internet
any moment you can chat.

Pop-ups come to peep in you
to tell you all, what is the new.
Forgotten things of your mind,
to recall and get the clue.

Beware of being cheated yet,
by deceitful and fake chats.
'Facebook' is amazing island,
need to be used with some tacts.

Moon haiku

are deprived
who made their contiguous bright
glimpse of the moon

seeing full face
the ocean tides mad
beauty of moon

to have a look
the stars come out soon
of splendid moon

sun succeeds
only once in a month
glimpse of full moon

in the nights
moon's broken mirror
ponds and lakes

peeks from the sky
to see where moonlit is spread
moon on the earth

swinging jasmine
in the bright moonlit
the dancing stars

in the cool breeze
lonely on the roof
she and the moon

cool breeze strokes
surface of the lake
shivering moon

moonlit warms
cools the couple's hearts
breeze on beach

breeze can fly
yet hopeless like me
can't touch moon

moon takes away
woe of reminiscences
the breeze brings with

moon silents
everyone in the night
not the breeze

atleast someone
to talk in loneliness
the moon in night

Late evenings
Between me and moon
The breeze

Booth capturing

He is a minister in one of the states in the country,
can't afford to loose the assembly election.
He has tasted the power of being in government;
by hook or by crook would secure his selection.

In the few constituencies of the country,
elections are held like war goes to take place.
Contestants gather money and muscle power
and deploy to manage the victory, anyway.

Voters're influenced by caste, money and power
and instigated to cast vote in influential's favour.
Friends and people around him would receive,
benefits derived out of his governmental power.

Hired goondas take charge of booth capturing
to ensure votes of subjugated people in his favour.
Of their life, assault, safety and modesty;
the voters are forced to cast vote, under fear.

Goonda elements would fill ballet box themselves,
disallowing sometimes, from voting, the real voters.
They manage the polling booth and police
having connection with top officials and ministers.

Contestant has money to flow, earned by corruption;
from doing any illegal act, he is not afraid.
Being in government, treats everything under his toe,
With the help of criminals, even can blood shed.

Other side of the hill

I'll fall other side of the hill, dancing,
would enjoy advantage of the slope.
From the peak, goal obviously glancing
I'll fall other side of the hill, dancing,
To the abode of God, am advancing
holding His tossed, the climbing rope.
I'll fall other side of the hill, dancing,
would enjoy advantage of the slope.

Simplicity

Simplicity

God has given things in simple way
we have been working to complicate.
I believe, we have to work more hard
to make the things simple yet.

Simple people have great thoughts.
Who live simple are closure to God.
Gandhi did believe in simple living.
Greatness of life, ever retrieving.

We like complex things but simple use
but complex things always confuse.
I like the life as simple as of a child.
Burden on life, in simplicity is light.

A flash of love

Outside of beauty parlour
I saw the glamour
Began swimming over

My eyes were stuck
That was just by luck
Seen such beauty never

She threw a smile
He fainted for a while
But she was clever

Soon, as he flipped
She had got slipped
And not turned ever

Outside the beauty parlour
I saw the glamour
Began swimming over

That's just by luck
My eyes were stuck
Seen such a beauty never

She threw a smile
I fainted for a while
But she was clever

Soon as I flipped
She had got slipped
And not turned ever

Wandered here and there
to see again anywhere
Hanged on in love's fever

Once again she smiled
As an air-hostess in a flight
That was the woe reliever

Listening the silence

Listening the silence

Silent pictures speak many words.
We hear clear, the silent caged birds.
High till sky, but doesn't listen the pain;
butcher of slaughter house, who slain.
Listens very loud, the doctor treating,
when the patient's heart stops beating.
The mother listens, what he seeks;
the things too, her baby not speaks.
Everyone speaks in the parliament,
speaker is the person, sits silent.
I haven't seen talking the love yet,
hear even today 'Romeo and Juliet'.
