Flying Kite on 15 August

Tied to strings colours fly in the sky
and joy in parks, streets and roof-tops.
Not bothering even for their lunch,
the children are on the  kite-flying job.

Sets of contests go on between two,
don't know each other who is who.
They just aim to cut the other's line
and make his kite off the blue.

Little ones enjoy looting those kites,
add to their team's stock with pride.
Later, Gaurav's kite is in Akram's hands
and else one's  kite,  Akram flies.

Fun, friendship, fervour are the kite's play
to celebrate the Indian Independence Day.

The Indian independence day's carnival,
full of fun, friendship and fervour.
