Haiku // mother

at dusk listen roars

far from town at sea shores
mere rocks and crabs

nature offers
bouquet of sea thrift as gift
happy cattle

sky is so much vast
if carries water would blast
as much the ocean


Sun comes down
begging her love all the way
earth veils darkness

burning her whole day
Sun goes to sink into sea
earth refused to love

troubled of day's heat
Sun dips to have bath
into the sea

spectacular scene
meeting of Sun and ocean
eyes feel heaven

near the church
spread lot of food grains
pigeons party

butterflies
start practice of kissing
for Valentine day

invitation
by bloomed flowers
to butterflies

eyes of bee
see the hidden buds
it's fragrance

leaves all pain
on the heads of his kin
the deceased

footpath
hawkers block
the walkers

the war
soldiers die for
wolves vulture's peace

the war
leaders declare
soldiers die



mother sent
wherever child went
her heart 

always lies
at the feet of mother
paradise

mother fed
think that nectar of life
lest you forget

drove always
to fetch my success 
mother's blessings

struggled
for a kiss of true love
mam gave thousands

Sleepless

I was a child
made my cries my mom
sleepless

worries of studies
I had in adolescence
kept me sleepless

in search of love
roamed my young heart
relinquished sleeps

whenever got
celebrations of joy
sleeps escaped

bore my heart  
reminiscences of hers
lived sleepless

now I am old
coughing in the nights
lay sleepless

poverty and pain
with whomever remain
mostly sleepless

Mate is overseas

every moment
the reminiscences tease
mate's overseas

night and days
eyes measure the distance
mate's overseas

all alone
stay ears on the phone  
mate's overseas

when clouds rain
the wet nights give pain  
mate's overseas

mind endures   

on message box for sure
mate's overseas 

as come evenings 

dreams start frightening

mind travels
to far unknown places
