Life is going great

every mile stone
on the way to home
is mid way stone

no relaxing
until reach the destiny
life means: going great

I started alone
now cherish the choir
on musical path

My birth place

 All over in farms
bloomed yellow mustered flowers
as gold flakes scattered in fields

Dew drops on the leaves
studded as silvery pearls
chilly and serene winter

Bathing in rivers
juicy delicious mangoes
the unforgettable taste

Smiling lush green trees
season’s fruit laden orchards
juicy sweet sweating summer

Water logged in fields
croaking sound of the toads
ocean came walking itself

Small water animals
loved watching fishes and frogs
floating paper boats in ponds

Colorfull spring flowers
mainly roses and  marigold
bloomed broadly in the gardens

Welcomed waiving hands
under its wealthy shadow
in cool breeze the ‘Peepal’ tree

Tall bamboos with wind
danced and filled sweetness in ears
resonating flute music

Yearned to live and die
in that Indian village's womb
but the fate took far from it

Tequila shot

if you have lost yours
take heart of blue agave
restore for love

blue agave buried
spirit is shut up in
tequila bottle

gives its heart
to power ours
the blue agave

shoots down
load of your anxiety
tequila shot

Midnight Sun

in jammed mind
for the dreams
no space left

no sleep in eyes
intense heat of stroking rays
kept in sweat

autumn plant leaves
waked up in the morning
damp and wet

Chicken limerick

Her one of eggs, stolen from hatchery.
Mom went to look the shop of grocery.
Not came back much time taken,
No telescope, had the chicken,
Went to check problem, out of poultry.

One cup

my soul always yearn
one cup in the evening
and one cup in morn

Ocean haiku

ocean tries to sleep
but wind stroking its body
awakes emotions

wind pilfers to gift
clouds do not hold stolen drops
give back to ocean

Little, so what

We too can do lot of things
no matter we are little stars.
Let dad do the big things,
we would do some, small.

Watching it we have learnt,
now we want to experience.
We would explore ourselves
and give dad some assistance.

Let’s help dad in his affairs
as his helping, obedient lad.
Some day, we too have to be
a responsible and proud dad.

History of bravery

He loved them
the Sioux tribes and the land

He was a brave
he would die for own people
but save interest of Sioux

He was a hero
led the several wars parties
always chased back enemies

He had the power
to kill even the big bull
to fight the bigger battles

He was the leader
of his people Sioux tribes
Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux

He had craze
to fight large American forces
at one time defeated them

He was holy man

yet preferred peace treaty

Mountain haiku

the hovering clouds
love to touch kiss and cuddle
tough and tall mountains

holding many herbs
mountains are greatest treasure
helping the mankind

hungry of their flesh
we chop many small mountains
garnish the floorings

Hanuman

Deity of courage and power, Hanuman
as son of mother Anjana, you were born.
In the childhood You were very naughty,
used powers to pester saints, as the monkey.

Could lift the elephants while you playing
with Your breath could create whirlwinds.
Nothing impossible, anything You could do
with ability to fly up to the Sun could get to.

Once in the childhood, hungry You felt,
to satisfy your hunger nothing could get;
Suddenly, sight of sun, Your eyes caught
swallowed him, red ripen fruit You thought.

Gods got worried, saw the universe in dark
You spewed him back, on request of Gods.
Devotee of Lord Rama, lived to serve him
You were Lord’s messenger and his detective.

Got assigned  to discover Sita, Ram’s wife
hijacked by Ravana, You were sent to spy.
On the way to Lanka, You had to fly over sea
so many obstructions, You faced in your flee.

With boon to take in mouth, Sursa came there
stood to swallow You, opened mouth bigger.
With your skill  puzzled her and got through,
reached to Lanka defeating other devils too.

You discovered Sita in the Ravana’s gardens
assured her about the plans of deliverance.
Later caught by army of Ravana, demon king
they tied in a rope, pulling took before him.

Your tail was set afire by the wicked demons
You enlarged your tail making Lanka to burn.
Killed Ravana’s sons and many of army men
jumped into sea to extinguish fire of tail, then.

Rama attacked on Lanka under Your guidance
You fought, assisted, guided in every instance.
When Lxman, Ram’s brother wounded in war
You were told, from Himalaya to bring a herb.

There too demons harassed but You succeeded
didn’t spot herb, with full mountain proceeded.
saved Laxman’s life, finally Ravana got defeated.
Your greatest many feats, even today are recited.

24 hours open

hungry jacks keeps
open twenty four hours
never feel hunger

quenches belly’s fire
just putting in its
delicious burger

I keep heart open
to shower love to chill you
welcome your entry

but one thing sure
once you enter I will close
you can never go

Open 24 hours

a proud member of
gold winning Olympic teams

Double decker

Doubles the capacity of carrying
by putting one deck on the other,
Pulled by a single engine and
driven by the single driver.

Occupies single space on surface
minimizes traffic congestion.
Good for the environment, to emit
comparatively less poison.

Used for the mass transit
and to benefit more, together,
Double decker gives an idea too.
how be, on a single bed, two lovers.

Tea break

For the twenty minutes tea time break
very eagerly we all colleagues await.
After several minutes long occupation
the  tea time provides us fine recreation.

Sometimes we find excuses to go on tea break
to have the leisure and refreshing our self.
While  gossiping with colleagues and friends
we share ideas and wish, it should never end.

In this twenty minutes tea  break of leisure,
we add knowledge too  along-with  pleasure.

Race

with keeping your pace
most vital is being on track
in life and car race

Violin

bow goes to and fro
touching gently to hard string
violin chants music

swiftly and softly
bow dances on the bosom
violin sings for it

You are formless

witness of all things
Beyond the reach of senses
You exist free and formless

These are not my own:
right or wrong,  joy and sorrow,
feelings of mind; gift of yours

I want to strive for you

You have conferred soul
to realize who am I, and
senses to know your creations

Indulged in looking
just your external creations
I did not know who I am?

we put on our senses
curtain of desire and lust
I could not see in myself

flowing in all things
I let the things flow to me
I did narrow down my mind

though I know it well
striving is root of sorrow
Lord! I want to strive for you

Godavari

Godavari, southern Ganges of India, could get love of her's,
very closed where she's born, less than hundred kilometers.
But she wanted to look for a hero, conceited of her beauty.
As she could get no matching alliance in her nearby vicinity.
Preferred to voyage thousand miles, to reach her superman.
Lastly met her mate, Bay of Bengal, son of Pacific Ocean.

She did this because her children were living in the east,
had to provide habitation to them; food, water to subsist.
Millions children depend on her, they dwell on her banks.
She helps irrigation; fishing, ecology and vegetation lends.

The largest river of South India, named also as ‘Gautami’.
As said, is an offshoot of Ganges, brought by ‘Gautam Rishi’.
Hindu’s great pilgrimage exists at bank of this sacred river.
Many millions people take dip and purify in her holy water.

Originating from ‘Brahmagiri’ hills near ‘Trimbakeshwar’ town
which is most sacred place for Hindus, their pilgrimage crown.
For  ‘Kumbh’ holy bath to wash their sins,  millions come down.

Real things i need

When I was child, things I get are free, I knew.
Priced are mere candy, ice-cream and others few.
Pond, nearby my village was owned by everyone.
Used to bath and swim freely, there whoever went.

Never knew that in future I shall be deprived.
For drinking water too, I would have to pay price.
Land would have been captured, by mighty people.
To earn the livelihood, we would have to struggle.

We would be caused to work at other’s instance.
To do things at my own I would have lesser chance.
But you gave me strength and wisdom to learn;
To pay for my necessary things, knew how to earn.

You gave everything that I needed here to subsist.
But to get, yet more and more my mind insists.
Your door is open, where everything is available.
But to achieve real things I need, find me incapable.

Lord! I want to grow that much, I know, who am I
What are the things! I need to be here and why.

Rocks at sea

beaten constantly
though gaze unabashed at waves
sitting stubborn rocks

Eyes are too small

the eyes are too small
to see vastness of beauty
the picture you have created

to tell how many drops
the clouds I see would fall
science has no answer to it

curious to know that
how many trees the seed has
don’t find any solution

where the chain began;
seed to tree to seed will go
how many generations

to find your address
strolled in temples pilgrimage
you lived in me loving me

as to catch fragrance,
runs in shadow of forest:
fool deer has musk in own gland

Tears are costly

Costliest water
In the universe – tears
Do not let go waste

Tears

drank thousands liters
refined to release few drops
through eyes - pure water

frozen heart melts
comes out flowing from eyes
the priceless water

heart is rock of salt
salty flavor of tears is
taste of the pain

possess all the colors
of rainbow except bliss
reason - tear is clear

Path of his adove

path of his adobe
full of beauty and fragrance
blossoms of roses are placed

soft soothe pleasant
if en route on that passage
fill with joy and happiness

Sun fires

family members
stay disciplined in orbs
Sun fires intense

Bouquet

Sentiments potted
in arranged bunch of flowers
the bouquet for you
