Blessings of empty sky

Blessings of the vast sky
There birds can freely fly
Sky’s clear and transparent
Lets to have view of  planets

Clouds can easily wander
To rain and spread water
Rays of sun and moon
Reach earth to give boon

Provides a free passage
To carry out swift air voyage
In openness easily exerted
Air and gas that we polluted

Emptiness  gives freedom
Of space you like can occupy
Vastness gives freedom
Of way you want can fly

In nights when up our eyes
Have heavenly look in the sky
An orchard of illuminating flowers
Can too see rainbow colours

Unlimited room for dream racing
Vast and empty sky is a blessing
And a  life vast and transparent
Is definitely the life of a saint

Spectacles

Spectacles

I magnify
to make the picture clear,
farther objects  drag near
I become your eyes
when your  eyes defy.

Shoes

Carried your load
months and years, un-tired.
Saved your feet from
prickle, heat and cold
until I become old

You used me as you desired
and thrown ruthlessly
when I  retired.

Living abroad Immigrant Diaspora

People living abroad

Let's forget where from we are,
Let's remember where we are.
Let's forget how we come here,
Let's remember why we are.

Let's forget anguish of the past,
Let's know how to go glad.
Let's learn from the situation,
That will lead to the new fate.

Let's not worry of frustration,
That will spur way to grow.
Anxiety may help building future,
Of the experience got abroad.

Let's forget negative thoughts,
Evolve technique to bundle it.
Whatever difficulty comes to,
Let's know how to tackle it.

Yes, let's learn the new culture,
but not forget that of our origin.
Bonanza of bigger relationship,
in the life would keep flowing in.

When free from work or study,
Get connect to the internet.
Update about the land of origin,
With friends and relatives, interact.

I be here or don't be

I be or don’t be,
Would be spreading whiff;
As a blossom, As a bud,
In the orchard of love.
I be or don‘t be

Whatever the weather,
I always will be there
To keep the orchard fresh
And in colour of desire.
Will be watering it ever
As a blossom as a bud
The orchard of love
I be or don’t be

I will unfurl my shirt
And sway in the breeze,
Will glow like flower
On the blossom trees;
Would spread fragrance
As a blossom as a bud
In the garden of love
I be or don’t be

When I won’t be there,
Her eyes with tears;
Would be finding  me
She would stop in reverie
Where I will meet her,
As a blossom, as a bud
In the orchard of love
I be or don’t be

I be here or in any other world.
Would be spreading whiff for you,
As a blossom of love.
I be here or in any other world.

I'll always be with you, there,
whatever circumstance, won't care.
I would be watering forever,
to keep afresh the garden of love.
I be here or in any other world.

I will glow like a flower on some tree,
sway, my hands from there, in the breeze,
Would spread fragrance for you,
each and every petal, I would hold.
I be here or in any other world.

With you, when I won’t be here,
your eyes would be finding with tears.
You would stop to look in reverie,
I would meet, suddenly, in your heart.
I be here or in any other world.

I saw the heaven (Published in The Indian, Sydney Sept.11 edition)

Last night, I was drowned in a dream.
Angels came and played as my team.
An angel asked me if I wanted to go!
Where're the heaven and the hell, to show.

Just for a day, she agreed to take.
After visiting the place, at once to go back.
The first door appeared, was of the hell.
Let me see this first! curiously I did tell.

I saw a big table, full of variety dishes.
Continental, Indian and delicious fishes.
People sat around but deprived of boons.
Their both hands tied with long spoons.

None could eat, hands went here and there.
Food was spread on floor and everywhere.
Kingdom of flies and germs ruled over.
Anarchy, disorder, battle for food to hover.

Habitats of Hell fought and hurt each other.
Snatching others food as starved forever.
No one ate properly, they remained hungry.
It’s a madhouse, for the reasons sundry.

In selfish needs they caused others to kill.
Did various sins and tortured by devils.
Now I'll take you to heaven, the angel said.
We reached heaven, that was just ahead.

Their also, variety of dishes on a big table
People had their hands tied with long ladles.
But there, I noticed the scene was different.
Habitats didn't give themselves, any preference.

They had made a system instead of himself,
Each member was feeding someone else.
Orderly system kept; place was nice n neat.
I was amazed everyone was able to eat.

With co-operation they fulfilled their needs.
Angels helped and hopped for their deeds.
No fight, no battle and no hotchpotch situation.
Everyone was enjoying, in the God’s heaven.

Delhi Bomb Blast

Delhi High Court Bomb Blast

Wednesday became a saddest day
He’s no more, came on final judgement day
Proceedings of court yet did not start
He was killed in the bomb blast,

A loud bomb explosion sound
Echoed the whole court compound
Soon the crowd could listen
Police, fire  and ambulance siren,

Oh no! many lost legs, eyes and arms
Many lost  sons, fathers, brothers, moms
Some had loss of hearing and memory
People screaming being topsy-turvy
Litigants came for justice from court
Few could never return to their home
Ground filled with lifeless and wounded
Soon investigating agencies surrounded

Families came searching their kins
Nervously rushing to injured dressed akin
Dismayed  not finding him or his clue
Praying God, even hurt but may be alive,
As usual, police is investigating all angles
Leaders are visiting the hospitals
Government condemns the event
None has taken responsibility minister comments.

Mumbai in August

Mumbai in August

Mumbai never sleeps.
But in rainy season it creeps.
When August sets in,
for days together, it weeps.

Disrupted are road, rail, air.
Impossible go anywhere.
With lot of water logged on,
streets are broader and clear.

Commuter’s morning begin
by getting ready with their tiffin
But they can't reach to work  as
water on rail tracks, wheels within.

Announcement on the station,
train is listed for cancellation.
For the day commuter is jobless,
gets no alternate solution.

But it’s joy for the children
At their doorstep comes the ocean.
Lot of water to jump and play,
in their own creek, they make fun.
