Teacher, the tree of knowledge

The gems buried deep within us,
is dug out by the teacher.
He is the person who builds
our personality and the character.

To climb on to the goals of life,
teacher confers ladder of knowledge.
He provides the tools and techniques,
with help of that we dig our traits.

Teacher not only extracts the gem,
but also carves into perfect shape.
Whoever have got the true teacher,
the values of life, can easily cultivate.

To provide healthy fruits of life,
teacher is the tree of knowledge.
The student too has to make efforts,

has to go either to school or college.

Student can’t repay to the teacher,

in any term, for his debt. 
Barring few greedy ones, he expects,
mere student's success and respect.

First snowfall

In the morning, as I opened my room's window, 

the Nature was ready with an amazing show. 

Who spread the white sheet, over whole of the town,
all of the trees and buildings have silvery glow.

Ah-ha! the Valley looks like a milky terrain,  
The day has become snowy, silky  and serene.    
The gone night witnessed heavy snow fall, 
in whiteness of snow, the whole green is taken.

Sets in the season of joy, with first snow fall. 
But life in the vicinity, now begins to crawl. 
Instead holding hands, couples hold shovels,
and excited children started to play snow balls.

Loaded with lot of snow, my house is an igloo.
How I go out, snow has blocked the pathway too.
Heart is filled with cheer and the sporty wishes,
hides somewhere, in the dense trees, the cuckoo.
