thirty seats commuters eighty

at stand as bus arrives

gate becomes like bee hive 

few can board into, who are mighty

Marserry

‘Mudall’ has a dream to go onto the Mars.

He has already filed his nomination for the Mars trip

but knows his hallucination may not come true,

so he conveyed his whimsy wish to his family, ‘if not self,

must go some of his generations’.

By next one thousand years ‘Murray’ of his thirteenth generation,

deputed for a temporary assignment, shall be visiting Mars.

Finding the atmosphere of the planet and the amenities over there,

most favourable,  he would love to stay long, virtually settle there.

Generations will pass. In next seventh generation or the twentieth

generation of Mudall, ‘Marsery’ would be living there a blissful life.

‘Monto’, who would be engaged in business of importing

precious gems from Mars, would come there from the Earth

on his business trip. Monto would like Mars so very much

and love to stay there. He would come in contact of Marserry,

a wise and pretty girl. They would love each other and agree to marry.

Both would live together a happy married life. Monto would relinquish

citizenship of his native country and would get citizenship of Mars.

After a few years Monto would have to go to earth for his work.

He would like to take his family also to show them the earth

but they would hate the earth and would not like to go.

The spaceship flight no. ME 010 would be ready to take off next week.

Monto would join three days program of High G training (the special type

of training given to passengers travelling for inter planet voyage).

After a fortnight he would land on the earth.

Due to excessive work he would have to extend his stay on the earth.

By the time Spaceship would leave for Mars. There would be

only two launches every year from Mars to Earth and vice versa. 

Next spaceship scheduled to launch for Mars is only after six months.

His visa to stay on Earth would expire by the time. He will face

lot of harassment and with great difficulty will get extension

from immigration department of that country.

With this news Marsery would be upset. She would show

her resentment with the Government of touring country

through messages sent by her. Now she would drive a mission to abolish

visa requirements for interplanetary visits, barring the Earth,

where she would not have any influence.

Gradually, day will come when spaceship is to take off for Mars.

Monto would rejoice and Marserry would also be cheerful

to get the news of his departure from the Earth.

But what! A great disaster would happen. The spaceship

would lose it’s way and land on a wrong planet, namely ‘Arya’.

Marsery would come to know and crying would go mad.

There would not be scheduled voyages of spaceships

from Arya either to Mars or to Earth. People of that planet

shall be amazed seeing the aliens from an other planet.

They would be cool and calm and not harm any of passengers.

Residents of the planet would welcome the aliens.

Residents of Arya would differ in body structure and face but

would look most charming. Monto would be liked by everyone there

particularly children would love him too much.

He would not be able to communicate with them.

The language spoken by them would be too typical.

The written communication would be read by people  

on their palm without any external device.

Monto, gradually, would learn the language to communicate, orally.

He would not acquire the ability to read or write that language.

Stay on that planet would be like celestial.

The environment, delicious dishes, long and bright days, light weight,

long steps in walking would give lot of pleasure to Monto.

Houses there, would have opaque walls but no roofs would be

transparent. The residents can view the sky, stars, rains from within

the house and temperature would always be pleasant.

Intensity of light will increase or decrease as commanded orally.

He may not be able to play but would love watching ‘Wind Polo’.

In this game the ball is driven by rival teams wearing wings

into the opposite team’s goal fixed eleven kilometres apart

in the wind. Monto would love the planet so much.

As the time would pass he would crave to stay there for ever.

There at Mars, Marsery’s heart would be shattered. She would cry

and would shed her tears, weeping profoundly. Marsery would have lost

her hopes of getting Monto back to Mars. Almost five years

would have passed. By then it would be Year 3555.

Suddenly, Monto would remember his family. His desire to meet his family

would awaken. He would want to leave the planet shortly.

The problem of voyage system from Arya to Mars

would not overcome till then. The people of Arya would not know

about Mars or Earth. But they would have their science so developed,

they can do any thing through their developed robots

just by wishing in hearts. They would have developed mystical wings.

Just putting on shoulders and wishing to fly to any planet,

would make it possible. Wearing those wings they would be flying

from their mother planet to it’s satellites for their picnics and excursions.

Monto would not have wings but with help of borrowed robotic wings,

he would also enjoy the picnics a few times.

Young girl ‘Aera’ of Aryan planet would like Monto and help him

in his needs, whatever he would require. She would also play with him.

Sometimes, would lend her wings too, to fly. Gradually she would start

loving him and would want to marry him.

One day she would express her willingness of marriage with Monto.

Monto shall inform her ‘he is already married and his wife is

living on the Mars. Now he would like to go to Mars to his wife.’

Aera would become sad but she will be very kind and generous girl.

Her love to Monto would be very intense. She would decide to sacrifice

her love and donate her wings to Monto. But problem would remain as it.

Aera would not know the direction and distance of Mars, therefore,

she would not be able to give appropriate instructions to her wings.

She would consult her friend ‘Tanay’ who would be living on an other planet

namely ‘Soham’.  Tanay, who would have encyclopedia of all the planets

would ask her to program the planet so as to reach to Soham and therefrom

he would program the wings to go onto the Mars. Soham would not be

 much far off from Aryan. Monto would reach Soham just in one day.

There, Tanay would program the wings and instruct to go onto Mars.

After one day’s rest Monto would take off to Mars. After seven days

incessant flight, he would reach his home at Mars.

A delightful day shall arrive. He would be welcomed by his family,

friends and neighbours. Monto would meet Marserry and his children..

Hearts of everyone shall bloom like lotus flowers.

Heaven by children

Once upon a time there lived a Demon;

in the valley who owned an orchard.

It was splendid, soothing, quiet and calm

full of buds, flowers, fruits of all sort.

Lavish green leaves, blowing aromatic breeze,

flows in midst, the music resonating brook.

Pretty herbs, sitting on trees singing birds,

snowy mountains around, gave heavenly look.

Children of nearby town came and played

but few naughty ones plucked some flowers.

Demon annoyed, didn’t like their this act

blocked children’s entry by mystical powers.

What’s this! gradually spring stopped flowing,

heat enhanced, leaves of plants turned pale,

flowers wilted, detached petals started to drop,

birds disappeared, most fruits one by one fell.

Worried demon invoked his Deity and yelled -

what happened to my orchard of heaven like?

His Deity said, O Demon! behold, they were the

children who made your orchard, paradise.

Realised his mistake, the demon soon caused

all the entry points of his orchard to open.

He invited very pleasingly to come and play

and take some fruits also, by all the children.

My pinching shoes

In my childhood I used to wear

the canvass shoes being it soft.

Once parents bought leather boot

which I wanted to get rid off.

My shoes were torn very fast

it would go long, parents thought.

But I felt pinches walking in it

as the pair was heavy and hard.

For getting the new pair of shoes

a longer period I had to wait;

so hided each shoe of the pair

at two different places, separate.

Next day we had to go out

mom could trace only one shoe.

I put on but it was on wrong foot

I wished and same day got  new.

Now I wish the shoes I have

must stay longer, seeing the cost.

I may go on world tour in same

and for few years they may last.

Demon Hirankashyap

Hirankashyap the mighty demon king,

wanted his praise even above the God

He wished all habitants of his kingdom

should worship him in stead of the Lord.

Performing penance of Lord Brahma

he acquired all of the magical powers.

Brahma got pleased with his austerities

and a boon of his choice, he offered.

by Lord Vishnu of his mystical powers.

This time tied with a pillar to be surely killed

for not accepting supremacy of his father.

With half of human body and half as lion

in form of Narsimha Lord Vishnu appeared.

In the twilight, neither the day nor night

put on his thighs, into him his nails pierced

God saved his devotee and demon was killed

The way boon of Lord Brahma too, fulfilled.

Malmas, month of deities

Hindus calendar is lunar one

western calendar based on Sun.

Moon makes round of the earth in

twenty nine days and a fraction.

In a year, it makes twelve rounds

from full moon to next full moon.

And during this period earth sees

just three hundred fifty four noon.

On its path Earth completes its orbit

in above three sixty five days, of sun.

Thus number of days is adjusted in

calendars of both Hindus and western.

Western calendar has the leap year

one extra day that year bears.

Lunar calendar has one extra month

comes after every three years.

That extra month or adhikmas is
assumed by Hindus like appendix.
People don’t start any new work
or do auspicious work during this.

It is also known as month of deities
worships bound to give better results.
People wash their sins by pilgrimage,
fasting and doing charitable acts.

Jumping to cross

Some people have habit to jump

into the affairs of others;

Make the issues more complicated

for which have no answer.

At times obstacles come on way,

one needs to cross jumping over it;

Else either dirt and hurt himself

or his original side remain to sit.

Jumping over takes faster

and sometimes give you pleasure.

But Jumping the traffic light

may attract fine and visit to lawyer.

If jump beyond the capacity,

you carry risk of breaking the bones.

Before jump, see, you are able

I do prefer to jump, but only,

if I face some sort of the barrier.

God said to Noah

You come and house into the ark

Whenever I had to appear

in any of my examinations.

I prayed him ‘get me success

in the excellent gradation.’

In my childhood other Gods

were far above to understand.

Only ‘Banshi Baram Baba’

was near and used to withstand.

Once a subject was hard to me

for that I had no preparation.

I was too much worried and

next day was examination.

Prayed ‘O Baba’ help me

and get me through the exam.

To my surprise the night

a question paper I dreamt.

Got up early, revised the questions

before went for the exam.

Luckily almost same questions

in the question paper came.

Results cheered me because

very good marks I had got.

I yet remember him and

have full faith in my Lord.
