Creation 2

Finished in six days
creation of earth and heaven 

seventh day (He) rested from work

God blessed seventh day

and sanctified it because
rested from all of his work

God did not form man

before plant of the field grew

and caused to rain upon earth

There went a mist of earth

watered whole face of the ground

Then formed man of dust of ground

God breathed into

Nostrils of man, breath of life

Man became a living soul

God planted garden

In eastward in Eden and

There put the man he had formed

God made every
tree out of garden, to grow

pleasant sight and good for food

In midst of garden

God made tree of  life, tree of
knowledge of good and evil

A brook went out of

Eden to water the garden

from thence parted to four heads

Name of first river

was Pison, second Gihon,

third Hiddekel, fourth Euphrates

The land of Pison
compasseth whole land of Havilah
there was gold and onyx stone

God took man and put
into garden of Eden

to dress and keep the garden

God commanded man

of every tree he can eat 

but not tree of the knowledge

The day he shall eat

of the tree of the knowledge

the man shall die surely

Man should be alone

is not good for man, God said

I will make help meet for him

God formed every

beast of field and fowl of air

and brought them unto Adam

Whatsoever Adam

called every living creature

that was the name thereof

Adam gave name to

all cattle and beast of field

but not found help meet for him

Lord caused deep sleep

to fall upon him and slept

Then God took one of his ribs

Made a woman of

the rib which God had taken

and brought her unto the man

Adam said this is -

bone of my bones, flesh of (my) flesh

So she shall be called woman

Now man shall leave

his father and mother and

live with his wife as one flesh
