Waiting for his girl friend in the pub
he thought to start with half the pitcher,
Soon after draught served, she turned up
believing consumed half, prevented further.
Other day he ordered full glass of liquor
only half was served, argued with waiter;
‘it was full quantity as ordered’, waiter said
the glass was twice as big as he needed.
On valentine day again waiting his girl friend
he kept on ordering as soon as glass half ended,
Unexpectedly she was more late, he drank a lot
money he had was enough, only for half the cost.
She needed money for some other important work
so changed her plan of spending for gift to half,
but she had also to clear remaining bill of pub
so expenditure on gift doubled to her budget.
